Huffing and puffing might ght be the last thing you feel el like doing after having a few too many wines the night before, but science shows that it can help minimise the damage to your bod. A new study, led by the University of Sydney, found that exercising at even basic recommende­d levels ( at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity training each week) may offset some of the bad effects of alcohol on the body. This isn’t a licence to booze more, though – it’s best to stop at one or two bevvies.
