WHAT is the deal with all this sensitivity about a couple of blokes shedding their kit and wearing a national flag emblazoned across their buttocks?

Can you imagine what would happen in the Territory if a group of Malaysian students decided to go semi-nude at Mindil Beach to display an undergarment tribute to the ochre and black Territory flag?

They’d be local heroes. Probably immortalised in song or, more fittingly, elected to the NT Parliament.
