When it comes to hair trends, there is never a dull moment with Guy Tang

WITH a huge cult following, Guy Tang has launched his new line of metallic hair colours!!!

Guy Tang is a Hollywood Hairstylist and Balayage Ombre expert who has now brought out his own salon colour range. He is known for his hair make-over transformations and, more importantly, his unconventional ways of teaching his colouring and styling techniques. He held a workshop at Melbourne’s hair expo, inspiring Australian hairstylists on the latest trends.

He has created shades that shine like chrome on a sports car. His line of colours is huge for anyone who likes colourful hair. Tang’s metallic range reflects so much light it almost looks computer imaginary.

From the lightest of pinks to the darkest of blues, Guy Tang’s colour range can cater to everybody. He is a master in his craft the level of sheen it gives is incredible. This year, grey hair — not the granny grey — is huge. Guy Tang has created beautiful grey metallic tones that everybody wants to create.

At Miilan Hair salon, on Knuckey St, we have started to stock his amazing colours and have had lots of creative time experimenting with all of his colours.

Kelly, the salon’s senior stylist and manager, created a Navy teal ombre effect on Paige’s hair (pictured far left).

Kelly used the locked-in teal to give Paige’s hair that contrasting blue through the ends.

With the roots, Kelly mixed an ash-based blue colour to almost give a navy tone to Paige’s hair.

“This hair trend is huge at the moment – people are feeling more confident with adding colour to their hair from soft pastels to heavy metallic’s is seen all over the runway,” Kelly said.

I for one am super excited that we now have Guy Tang’s range here in Darwin.
