The Power of Flour Rowie Dillon $35, New Holland

Gluten-free no longer means missing out. The strangely named The Power of Flour cookbook sounds like the antithesis but author Rowie Dillon, who suffers food intoleranc­e herself, writes all about “wicked” foods with alternativ­e flours; coconut flour, buckwheat, teff, tapioca, sorghum, polenta and arrowroot among them. There’s pastry, biscuits, crumbles and even lamingtons on the menu.
