lion’s press sec Russel Guse issued a media release claiming Coalition credit for 5000 new jobs in the seat of Lingiari “since the dark days of the Rudd Gillard Shorten Labor Government” in 2013. A quick check would have revealed that a major reason for the increase in jobs was the development of the Inpex onshore gas plant and workers village which falls within the Lingiari electorate. Bushy needs to point out to Mr Scullion and Mr Guse that it was indeed Labor politicians at a Territory and national level who brokered the Inpex deal in the first place.
