Dust And Sand stands out in Winnellie Park feature

-

GRAEME Ferns’ Dust And Sand will take his unbeatable form of late into the $1750 Clarke Constructions Sprint (537m) feature race five at Winnellie Park tonight.

The two-year-old has won his past five starts, four over the long distance, and has box eight.

Happy Glen and Wayne Outwide for champion trainer Jamie Hosking should also be monitored.

Hosking also has Zamlee Magic in race one, with the soon-to-be four-year-old winning three of his past five races.

Don’t discount Simon Nathanael’s Jetmag Sally from box seven.

Hosking’s Hello Joan and Richard Carr’s Quick Foot have both won two of their past five races going into race two.

Leta Smith’s two-year-old Elite Falcon has won three of his past five races heading into race three over 312m.

Carol Pickard’s kennel is ticking over nicely and her three-year-old bitch Never Fear carries consistent form into race four. Pickard’s Hawke’s Special is also one to look out for in race six.

Hans Spykers’ Blue Vain Boy has the benefit of box eight for race seven, with two seconds and a first from his past five starts.

Pickard could be in for another good night, with the infrom Arabian Khaleese to start from box two in race eight.

Kennelmate Worthy Moment (box six) should be in the mix for race nine alongside Hosking’s Navajo Warrior (box seven).

Race 10 is a tough one to pick on paper, but Russell Savige’s Gold Act and Firebomb bring consistent form into the last race on the card.
