Works to interrupt power supplies

- PHILLIPPA BUTT

SOME residences in Wadeye and Berrimah could be set to swelter today as PowerWater cuts the power for maintenance works.

Berrimah residents and businesses could lose power between 8.30am and 10.30am, while those in Wadeye could be shut off from 8am to noon.

No suburbs will be affected by planned power outages tomorrow, but some properties in Archer, Hidden Valley, Karama, Marlow Lagoon, and Mitchell could be affected on Tuesday.

Wednesday will see Finniss Valley, Karama, Marrara, Rum Jungle and Virginia affected

Finniss Valley, Karama and Rum Jungle could still be affected by the maintenance on Thursday.

At this stage, Karama looks to be the only suburb to be affected on Friday.

Active Tree Services will also be trimming trees in Ludmilla, Moil, Wagaman, Bees Creek, Darwin River and Noonamah.
