New Terra? No worries Eight-page TV Guide to make long-awaited return
THIS is the last Sunday Territorian as you know it!
From next week, we will have a whole new look with the launch of our new 350mmhigh tabloid format, which publishes for the first time in the NT News tomorrow.
The Sunday Territorian has been a household name in the Territory since 1984.
The exciting new format will take the ‘Terra’ to the next stage in its 35-year journey.
In exciting news for Sunday Territorian readers, we can reveal that from next week, an eight-page TV Guide will return to the newspaper after a few years’ absence.
The news and sport sections will also be expanded. The best content from the Frontier liftout will be incorporated into the expanded news section.
Your favourite weekly gossip column, Bushranger, will remain on Page 2, giving readers an insight into the hot goss around the Territory.
The ever-popular bingo game won’t be going anywhere!
Sunday Territorian editor Jill Poulsen said it was a privilege to take the NT’s only Sunday newspaper into a new era.
“The new tabloid format is even easier to read and I think readers will love the fresh look,” she said. “With our expanded news and sport sections, we’ll be able to run more of the stories that matter to your day-to-day lives.”
She said she had listened to her readers and brought back the eight-page TV Guide.
“The new TV Guide pages are excellent,” she said.
The NT News, Sunday Territorian and Centralian Advocate are the first of News Corp Australia’s regional newspapers to change to the new 350mmhigh format.
