Charged with son’s murder

A 27-YEAR-OLD man is charged with the murder of his four- month-old son.

Tiaan Burger was arrested on Friday over the death of Finnick Hercules Burger earlier this month.

Police allege the baby sustained “multiple injuries” during an incident at a house at Sun Valley in the Queensland town of Gladstone on January 12. The boy died at Brisbane’s Children’s Hospital on January 15.

Burger is to appear in court again on February 17.
