HE’S the resident party boy on this season of Married at First Sight, but it looks like Michael Goonan has been pulling similar antics outside the experiment, too.

Two women have claimed they had an unfortunate runin with the star during a drunken night out in Darwin earlier this month. The evening, according to both women, ended with an altercation with the venue’s bouncers during which Goonan pulled out his phone and Googled himself, demanding special treatment because of his reality star status.

Police were reportedly called to Monsoons after Goonan refused requests to leave the premises on February 6 – the night after viewers watched him walk down the aisle to meet 25-year-old Stacey Hampton.

One female patron, who spoke to Yahoo! anonymously, claimed Goonan approached her before he was booted from the club. She said she later saw him being escorted out by two security guards, who were “just doing their job”.

Goonan – who the woman described as being “s**tfaced” – then began taking photos of the bouncers on his phone, she said.

“He was saying, ‘this is what happens when you piss off someone with 250,000 followers’. He Googled himself and was flashing the phone in the bouncer’s face, trying to show them he was famous,” she said.

The woman said the manager of the club attempted to reason with Goonan, but when he failed to co-operate, they called the police to help move him along.

Another woman named Talisha spoke to Yahoo! about Goonan’s eviction from the venue, similarly describing how he tried to talk himself out of trouble by flexing his fame.

“He said to them, ‘ do you know who I am? I have money, I’m from MAFS’,” she explained. “Then he Googled himself again, and brought two articles up.”

Goonan, 28, is currently “married” to Stacey Hampton, 25, on the program, but recent reports suggest the two don’t last the distance post this week’s cheating scandal.
