Second NT cop on suspension

A 30-YEAR-OLD man has become the second NT police officer in two weeks to get suspended from duty following allegations of serious breaches of discipline.

NT Police said because the matter was ongoing no further information would be given.

It comes about a week after a 61-year-old officer was suspended without pay for serious breaches of discipline on April 8. He was allegedly responsible for producing and distributing provocatively worded T-shirts, causing a stir on social media.
