Youths sought after break-in
TERRITORY police are searching for five youths allegedly involved in a break-in and car theft yesterday morning.
NT Northern Watch Commander Michael Valladares said police spotted a car allegedly stolen from Palmerston outside a supermarket in Fannie Bay just after 1am.
He said the store’s glass doors were smashed and small items were stolen.
Police later intercepted the vehicle but it crashed into a tree at Malak and five youths fled the scene.
