Mayor praises MyDarwin win

THE final $100,000 of Darwin city council’s MyDarwin voucher scheme was exhausted before noon on Saturday.

Darwin Lord Mayor Kon Vatskalis said it was one of council’s most successful projects.

“MyDarwin has been an extreme success for council. It was easy to produce, easy to administer and a great initiative,” he said.

“The results speak for themselves, we have generated nearly $7 for every dollar in business.”
