JUST FELT LIKE A SSSSSWING
A TERRITORY family got a slithering surprise after finding a whopping 3m snake coiled around their playground set. Snake magnet Emma Sharp
filmed the serpent after spotting it at her Lloyd Creek home. “This is the third time in two years this beauty (or one of similar size) has made itself at home here, while my husband is away,” said Ms Sharp. But this olive
python isn’t the first submission to appear in the Sunday Territorian from Ms Sharp. In 2014, a gatecrashing snake took a ride in her and her husband’s wedding car. According to the Territory Wildlife Park, olive pythons are ground dwelling, nonvenomous and harmless to humans. “We just let them go about their business and keep animals and children away, for the benefit of both parties,” a spokeswoman said.
