Road train roll death

A MAN has been killed and an investigation launched by NT WorkSafe after a single vehicle crash on a major NT highway.

NT Police said the man’s two-trailer road train rolled on the Stuart Highway, about 20km south of Barrow Creek, shortly before 2pm on Friday.

He was the only person in the vehicle.

The highway was closed in both directions as emergency services attended the scene.

NT WorkSafe are investigating the crash.
