Aussies big on start-ups
AUSTRALIA is the joint fourth best country in the world for start-up businesses valued at more than $1bn, new research shows.
Money.co.uk researchers analysed all 750 company start-up’s start date and the date of their $1bn valuation.
They found six businesses valued at more than $1b in Australia took an average of six years and 11 months to reach the massive valuation. China, Hong Kong and Japan rounded out the top three.
