Branch mission is the wellbeing of children

Early Childhood Australia NT Branch (ECA NT) prioritises the safety and wellbeing of children. ECA NT is the NT Inclusion Agency, supporting Centre-Based Care, Out of School Hours Care and Family Day Care services.

We are also the Early Childhood Early Intervention partner for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in the Darwin, Palmerston and Litchfield areas and also deliver a program called Gym for Growth and Development (g4gd®), a music and movement program supporting healthy development for children and their families.

The Little Geckos Supported Therapy Group is a collaboration between ECA NT, the Child Development Team and Mimik-ga FAFT which gives parents strategies to work on short-term goals in a group setting.

ECA NT Branch also run monthly “Let’s Talk About” sessions to provide information

TO TREAT ALL OF AUSTRALIA’S CHILDREN FAIRLY, WE NEED TO MAKE SURE EVERY FAMILY AND COMMUNITY HAS WHAT KIDS NEED TO THRIVE AND BE HEALTHY

and tips with an aim to help children and families gain skills and confidence in topics such as toileting, sensory processing and sleep (among others) which also builds on family strengths for a safe and positive environment for children.
