Alice man stabbed
A MAN is in hospital with a stab wound to his leg after a “disturbance” in Alice Springs.
NT Police Watch Commander Acting Senior Sergeant Leith Phillips said police were called to a home on Bloomfield St at 2.20am on Saturday.
“It just appears to be a disturbance, with people at the location, and some fights ensued then someone’s been stabbed,” he said.
The 25-year-old victim was taken to hospital in a stable condition with one wound.
Police have set up a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances. A/Sen Sgt Phillips said police were working to determine the weapon used in the attack.
