MAN, 33, FOUND DEAD IN CBD
A 33-YEAR-OLD man was found dead on Woods St, in Darwin’s CBD, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The man’s body was discovered about 6.30am, NT Police said.
It is believed that the man fell from a building.
Following the discovery, NT Police closed the area to investigate the incident that was later declared not suspicious.
Detectives and crime scene investigators were at the location. About five officers were walking in and around the scene, with one police car blocking off the entry into Woods St from Daly St.
The occupants in nearby apartment buildings peered down at investigators while police officers directed people walking along Woods St away from the vicinity of the crime scene.
NT Police subsequently closed the crime scene in the Darwin CBD location.
