Cyclist dies in collision
A DRIVER has been charged with dangerous driving after a cyclist was hit and killed on the Central Coast.
Emergency services found the injured 68-year-old male cyclist on Empire Bay Drive, Kincumber South just after 2.30pm on Friday.
Witnesses said the cyclist was travelling north when he was hit by a passing car. Despite police performing CPR, the man died at the scene.
Police took the uninjured 29-year-old male driver of a Holden Commodore to Gosford Hospital for testing and he was later charged with dangerous driving occasioning death and negligent driving occasioning death.
