A QUARTER of young Aussies have revealed the first thing they will buy now that lockdown restrictions have eased will be travel and experiences.

At least 28 per cent of Next Gen Aussies said the first thing they would buy when restrictions ended involved travel and experiences, while 23 per cent want to prioritise finding the love of their life, according to a study by Afterpay. Almost half are looking forward to dining and drinking out, while 36 per cent will be hitting up the pub. In-store shopping at 42 per cent is also high on the agenda as well as personal care appointments at 34 per cent.
