Aussie crypto rise
AUSSIE cryptocurrency ownership has surged in the past six months, with almost one in five now owning online currency. According to the Finder Cryptocurrency Adoption Index, Australia ranks third out of 22 countries for cryptocurrency ownership. At least 18 per cent of Australian adults own cryptocurrency, up from 13 per cent in a similar survey conducted in March. Bitcoin is the most popular coin in Australia at 12 per cent, followed by ethereum at 7 per cent and cardano at 5 per cent. Australia has one of the highest cryptocurrency ownership rates among those surveyed.
