SWOON-worthy Colin Farrell (pictured) has done a Russell Crowe. Hiding behind a bushy beard and an uncharacteristically hulking frame, the handsome Irish actor is almost unrecognisable in this five-part British drama based on the book of the same name. Farrell plays Henry Drax, a murderous harpooner with a lust for liquor and ladies who is one of an assorted crew of nasty men at sea on an arctic whaling expedition. Army surgeon Patrick Sumner (Jack O’Connell) joins the group when he signs on to be the ship’s doctor.
