REDS TO HOLD OFF ON STAR

ADELAIDE United coach Carl Veart will resist the urge to rush Japanese striker Hiroshi Ibusuki into the Reds’ starting line-up for Sunday’s A-League clash against Brisbane Roar at Moreton Daily Stadium.

Ibusuki was an instant hit in his Reds debut last Saturday at Coopers Stadium, coming off the bench to score an 84thminute equaliser in Adelaide’s 2-2 draw with champions Melbourne City.

However, Ibusuki’s lack of football in the past two months means his game time will be gradually increased “We’ll slowly introduce him,” Veart said.
