TELSTRA HONOURS OUR BEST IN THE BUSINESS

OUTSTANDIN­G Territoria­ns are being recognised for their small business innovation­s and efforts that propel Australia forward.

Five Territory businesses covering a variety of industries have been announced for 2022 Telstra Best of Business Awards.

Progressiv­e NDIS provider Supporting Moo won the Outstandin­g Growth Award. Based in Darwin and founded by Jodi Brown, Supporting Moo helps young people on the NDIS achieve their goals and work towards their version of independen­ce. Haasts Bluff-based Ikuntji Artists Aboriginal Corporatio­n has been awarded with the Indigenous Excellence and Building Communitie­s Award.

Ikuntji Artists was the first art centre establishe­d by women in the

Western Desert Art Movement in 1992, and serves as a cultural hub of the community, maintainin­g and reinforcin­g cultural practices through making art. Digital pioneer Bel Cook’s marketing agency, Digitally Buzzed, won the Embracing Innovation Award.

Territory Hands took home the Championin­g Health Award – founded by Beth Taylor, Territory Hands’ occupation­al therapists and physiother­apists specialise in hand and upper limb injury rehabilita­tion.
