Phoenix find their range

SOUTH East Melbourne snapped out of its collective shooting funk in the best way possible, holding off an undermanned, but determined Brisbane e 98-94 in a dramatic Saturday ay night NBL clash.

The Phoenix had been woeful from deep over their past six games, shooting at less than 30 per cent in each and were e averaging a league-low ow six makes per contest in that period.

It seemed ludicrous that a team featuring Cam Gliddon, Ryan Broekhoff, Mitch Creek, Kyle Adnam and Xavier Munford could shoot the ball so poorly and it was certain it would eventually click.

And click, it did, on Saturday night, as Gliddon was red-hot in the first quarter, potting four threes in just 2.21 to get the ball rolling.
