Distance races are impressive

THE two 537m races look to be the highlights of the Winnellie Park greyhounds meeting on Sunday night.

The open race has top-line stayers including the Graeme Ferns-trained Gippsland Storms, as well as the Steele Bolton pair Myrtle Monelli and Porsche Monelli.

The lower grade distance race has some nice up-andcoming performers engaged, including Manawata, who is in a purple patch of form for Adam Poulter.

Sunset Shieva has drawn perfectly in box one to play a major role and kennel mate Pepperberry, who has plenty of ability, stretches out to this trip and warrants respect.

Other notable hopes across the night include High Arrogance (race 5), Coco Sun (race 7) and Barney Sun (race 9).
