Staff to meet on Musk

-

TWITTER plans to hold a meeting for employees concerned about Tesla chief executive Elon Musk’s influence on the company’s board, a Twitter spokesman says.

The Twitter official did not disclose the format for the meeting or when it would be held. The social media company named Mr Musk to the board on Tuesday after the outspoken and polarising executive disclosed he had acquired more than 9 per cent of the company, making him Twitter’s largest shareholder.

Mr Musk said he looked forward to soon making “significant improvements to Twitter”.

But Mr Musk is a controversial figure in US business. His zany antics often raise eyebrows and draw wide condemnation.
