VIXENS BRING UP HA T-TRICK

A REVITALISED Melbourne Vixens continued their charge with their third Super Netball win in as many games on Saturday night, inflicting another early setback for a Giants side recovering from a Covid-riddled run.

Co-captain Kate Moloney led with 27 feeds and 15 goal assists in the 64-52 win. Kiera Austin enjoyed a night out against her old side with a complete game at goal attack, highlighted by a pair of super-shot conversions.

The Vixens last made a 3-0 start in 2020 before eventually being crowned premiers.

Coach Simone McKinnis was reluctant to compare the Vixens’ form with that of the 2020 team.
