COLE ADJOURNED AGAIN
ANTI-vaccine mandate protester David Cole and his family had their case adjourned a further two weeks after they failed to appear at court on a number of charges.
Mr Cole, his children T’ara and Niwang as well as son-inlaw Rudy Matoy-Nukmtwa, were summoned on charges including contravention of emergency declaration.
He was an outspoken voice against the Covid-19 vaccine mandate and on November 6 took part in an anti-mandate rally where it is alleged rocks and liquid were thrown at police.
Mr Cole is also charged with aggravated assault and assaulting a worker.
In court there was suggestion he could be delivered a warrant. But as he had delivered correspondence to the court, Judge Elizabeth Armitage adjourned the case to May 9.
