TERRITORY ARTISTS SET TO SHINE AT BASS

-

TWO local artists will take to the BASSINTHEGRASS stage after winning the Territory Artists competition.

Delivering a pop-dance vibe, 20year-old Phoebe Olivia will take to the stage with a live band and back-up dancers, offering music lovers plenty to absorb during her 20-minute set.

“I was really excited to win,” Olivia said. “I’ve grown up in Darwin my whole life and performing at BASSINTHEGRASS has always been on my bucket list. I’ve been to the festival for the last five years or so as a music fan, and it’s pretty epic to know I’ll now be performing at it.”

MSON (Make Something Outta Nothing) is one of the NT’s biggest hip-hop acts and features Ferdinand Stan, Jake the Misfit, Seaning, Flipz810, Bleeza and Lil Yob.

“This is like a dream come true to be honest,” Ferdinand Stan said.

“We said we wanted this in our two-year plan and achieving it helps us believe in the cause and our music, and where we are heading. But it’s more than a milestone. We’re all Darwin locals and have been going to BASS while going up through school, and now we will be performing there.”
