Man dies with Covid

ANOTHER man has died after contracting Covid-19 in the Northern Territory.

The man, in his 60s, from East Arnhem, had underlying health conditions and passed away at the Royal Darwin Hospital.

It came as 525 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded in the 24 hours to 8pm Friday.

There were 373 cases recorded in the Top End region, 52 in Central Australia, 10 in East Arnhem, 12 in the Big Rivers region, 10 in the Barkly region and 68 are under investigation. There are 47 patients in hospital, with six requiring oxygen and two in the ICU.
