Aries Mar21-Apr20

What’s scarier than fear of the unknown? Fear of the familiar. There’s nothing worse than the air of despondency that hangs over us when we know a situation so well that it offers no challenges or surprises. And we feel powerless to change it. With your ruler empowered by the sun, and lucky Jupiter poised to enter your sign, it’s time to prepare yourself to discard any tired situations and get ready to embrace a new, and improved version of your life. Even if things feel similar, there are substantial differences. Focus on them.

Taurus Apr21- May21

You stand to benefit, fairly significantly, from events that are beginning to unfold. This, though, might not be what you’re expecting to hear. In fact, you’re feeling more than a little wary – even nervous that you’ll end up no better off, and possibly in a more precarious position than you are now. But you’re not yet in possession of all the relevant information. You don’t know the whole story. A key conversation has yet to take place. Over the course of this week, you’ll discover lots about your options and choices.

Gemini May22-Jun22

A statement that appears to be contradictory but may nevertheless be true is a “paradox”. And it’s not just statements that can be paradoxical. Situations can be too. When we find ourselves facing one, we can try to make it work out how we want, or allow it to unfold (which is the recommended approach). Life is based on paradoxes. We feel as if we’re here forever, when we know, with certainty that we’re not. Don’t worry if there are lots of nonsensical issues in your life. Just focus on the magic. There’s lots of it about this week.

Cancer Jun23-Jul23

We might all be created equal, but it seems that some people are “more equal” than others. You’ve got skills and talents that other people lack. Perceptions and insights too. These are so refined and pertinent that some folk only have a fleeting suspicion of the fact that vital clues and important pieces of information are sailing over their heads. Don’t doubt yourself this week. Instead, have more faith in your outstanding insightfulness. You’re clever and you’re special. This week brings some of the recognition you deserve.

Leo Jul24-Aug23

This week, you need to get a move on, and take your time. How ridiculous. But isn’t that the nature of life here on planet Earth? We’re all continually doing our best to rise to impossible challenges. We strive to rationalise nonsense. There’s no getting away from the fact that we live in a crazy place and that the craziest people are those who think they’re sane. What’s frustrating, is that we have no choice but to abide by some of the silly rules. This week, you’re perfectly poised to work a ridiculous situation to your advantage.

Virgo Aug24-Sep23

We’re encouraged to go for the top. Second best is never good enough. But what is second best? Once upon a time, we thought butter was the “best” thing to put on toast… these days, there’s a lot of debate about that. Is silk superior to cotton? Surely it depends what kind of outfit you’re wearing? If you feel as if you have to make a compromise this week, don’t be so sure. Actually, you’re getting exactly what you need. The cosmic forces are working to ensure that what you get suits you even better than what you think you want.

Libra

We don’t like the idea of sudden change. Even when it results in an improvement, we prefer gentle transformations. What if we’re unable to adapt? Suppose the new circumstances are harder to deal with than the old ones? No one wants to find themselves in a situation they can’t back away from. This week, as Jupiter moves into your opposite sign, the changes in store are changes you’ve been preparing for. And, if there is a surprise or two, you’ll be more than able to cope. The developments that unfold should be very pleasing.

Scorpio Oct24- Nov22

The reason there are more questions than answers is that lots of questions lead to the same answer. That’s why, when we get to the bottom of one problem, we often realise that we’ve sorted out several other difficult issues. This week, you’re looking at a number of ambiguous situations, none of which seem to be related to one another. Yet they’re connected by a common thread. Once you manage to identify it, you can start to deal with it. That’s when positive, transformative changes will start rippling through your life.

Sagittarius Nov23- Dec21

Are things going well or going badly? Well… that depends on how you assess the situations unfolding this week. Since you’re a Sagittarian, you tend to leave pessimistic outlooks to everyone else. Yet one specific issue you’re dealing with seems to be problematic. Could you be secretly enjoying the experience of stress that ensues from holding on to a negative mindset? As your ruler, Jupiter, moves into Aries, you can shake off any negativity. If something’s getting you down, you can find a way to deal with it.

Capricorn Dec22-Jan20

Rather than asking what you’re capable of doing this week, think about what you want. And answer that question honestly. There’s no point settling for anything less – not under this cosmic climate. If you have a heartfelt desire, you can pursue it. It’s time to revisit old assumptions about what your future holds, and reset your expectations so that they’re more positive and inspired. Something that seemed impossible may just be attainable. But it’s going to involve work. Start by doing a simple task… and keep moving.

Aquarius Jan21- Feb19

Do you have a favourite TV soap that you watch? Even if you’re not a regular fan, you’ll be aware that even though the characters live as “normally” as you and I, we never see them sitting on their sofas, watching their own programme. In their world, that particular show doesn’t exist. You may be feeling as if your life is under scrutiny. You have a distinct sense of being under the spotlight. This week, you get to show the audience yourself at your very best. An exciting, enjoyable week awaits. You, and any observers will enjoy the show.

Pisces Feb20- Mar20

We all understand what’s meant when someone’s described as being “big-hearted”. We think of a generous, entertaining person who’s fun to be with. From a medical perspective, of course, this is not a diagnosis anyone wants to have. But maybe being too emotionally big-hearted is problematic too. If we’re unable to say no, because we don’t want to disappoint, or consistently go out of our way to be the life and soul of the party, it has a knock-on effect on our wellbeing. Be kind… but not to your own detriment this week.
