Chamber to investigate impact report findings

Sunshine Coast Daily - Caloundra Weekly - - NEWS - CALOUNDRA CHAMBER MICHAEL SHADFORTH

MUCH has been said over the past few months of the Lucid Economics Staff Relocation Impact Assessment Report, which was given to the Caloundra Chamber of Commerce and Nambour Alliance by Mayor Mark Jamieson.

Our intention in lodging the initial Right to Information Request was to bring to light all information pertinent to the people and businesses of Caloundra.

The chamber’s goal has always been to work with other stakeholders, including the council, to understand information in the report and the consequences of the transition.

From this we intend to work with affected businesses and key stakeholders so the necessary actions can be put in place to minimise the impact of staff relocation. We will continue to analyse and review the findings and meet with Lucid Economics to understand the contents of the report.

With many positive things happening, the chamber wants to ensure we are contributing to the vision for Caloundra, its main street and its brand and we want to make sure our actions build resilience and understanding for the town.
