DANCERS APPEAR ON STAGE
SPARKS will be flying and dancers will be twirling.
Queensland’s largest burlesque show is coming back to the Coast.
Big Bang Burlesque is co-produced by Scarlet Tinkabelle and Pyra Teknix.
Ms Tinkabelle said the team always have a great time performing the shows and there’s a huge variety of talent on offer.
“We have burlesque dancers, drag performers, fire comedy and special effects fireworks,” she said.
“That’s how we ended up with the name Big Bang Burlesque.
“It’s something a little different, it’s the only show in the world that I know of that’s doing it at the moment.”
Ms Tinkabelle said the tour doesn’t just focus on performing in big cities.
“We travel to a lot of regional areas as well, that don’t get a lot of burlesque shows,” she said.
“In the line up that we’ve got we have performers coming from Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Bundaberg and there’s local performers too.”
The event will be hosted in Caloundra, which means talent from Bella Bliss Studio Caloundra will be included in the fun antics.
Ms Tinkabelle said they pride themselves on always having a different line-up.
“We have a few regulars but each show we have new artists and new interstate supporting artists,” she said.
“We hand select our performers that are coming on for each show, that way it’s a different experience for the people watching the shows.”
The show will be on October 20 and tickets start at $30.
