COME one come all to the Caloundra Arts Centre Association’s (CACA) North Street Makers’ Markets.

CACA is committed to supporting independent artists and designers and the new markets make way for this opportunity.

The stallholders pour love, passion and craftsmanship into their creations from quirky children’s dolls, intricate jewellery, unique paintings and hand painted surfboards.

CACA secretary Trish Thomas said the market is an opportunity for local artists to show the Coast what they’re made of.

“It’s a true makers market, everything is genuinely handmade. We don’t have anything imported,” she said.

The secretary said there’s a master plan in place to expand the CACA “but it won’t be available for some time”.

“This will also be an opportunity to fundraise for the master plan.”

The first Makers’ Markets will kick off at 8.30am-1pm on December 8 at the Caloundra Arts Centre, 5 North Street.

Riffle through hand made goodies for the perfect Christmas gift while supporting the community.
