Mum stole from Coles
A MOTHER influenced her 13-year-old daughter to help steal $448 of groceries from Coles at the Sunshine Plaza. Aimee Jean Boram pleaded guilty in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court to one stealing charge on Friday.
The court heard Boram and her daughter filled a trolley, before the defendant went outside while on the phone. She waited for her daughter, who made no attempt to pay before she exited the store. The pair were stopped and made to return the items. The court heard Boram, 37, was a single mother of four children on a disability support pension and a carer’s payment. She was fined $450, no conviction recorded.
