Mindless goats ruin our land

Sunshine Coast Daily - - YOUR SAY - Brian. MICHAEL BARRY HENDERSON Maroochydore

LOVED Brian Stephen’s letter ‘Bushland becoming a thing of the past’ (Daily, October 11) because I also witnessed the ruthless destruction of the tree removal on Old Maroochydore Rd from a 610 bus recently.

Who are these criminals destroying these fine segments of ancient Gondwanaland?

The State Government?

Main Roads?

All for the thoughtless private car public.

None of you know what you are about in the real world, the real universe of magnificent trees thrown up out of creation by immense forces of wonder and fecundity.

For what?

So noisy, beastly, little people in industrial cars can slither over landscapes with no conscience or respect for what they are doing. What mindless goats!

The unique character of Gondwana is being ripped out and replaced by the machine and roadways of the commonplace.

Aand there is barely a squeak from the good, thoughtless citizens except
