Noosa: Noosa Sound area has been pro­duc­ing qual­ity golden trevally, some grunter bream, flat­head and the odd big whit­ing. Whit­ing also from the Yacht Club and near the ferry stretch. Golden trevally taken and a few good tai­lor in the lower river. A few good catches of man­grove jack in the creeks and around the bridge struc­tures and up be­tween the lakes.

Ma­roochy­dore: Big bream and plenty of flat­head from Cot­ton Tree. A cou­ple of tai­lor to 45cm up­stream from the Cod Hole. A few big whit­ing through­out the lower reaches. Golden trevally and flat­head from Pic­nic Point. Man­grove jack from the creeks and Bli Bli reach. Flat­head from the creek mouths. Mud crabs pot­ted mainly in the up­per river.

Mooloolaba: Qual­ity whit­ing, bream and trevally in the Mooloolah canals. Bream and trevally from the moor­ings. Jacks, flat­head to 60cm, trevally, from McKen­zies Bridge. Big whit­ing in Moun­tain Creek Reach. Cod, man­grove jack and mud­dies from the up­per Mooloolah.

Caloun­dra: Some big flat­head up to 70cm, man­grove jack and a few mud crabs in Coochin Creek. Good num­bers of flat­head, a few whit­ing and bream from Golden Beach. Qual­ity whit­ing south of Bells Creek overnight. Mud crabs will be feed­ing in all the creeks that feed into the Pas­sage.
