The seed paste can sep­a­rate from the oil when it’s stored, so stir it well be­fore us­ing. Tahini is the base for many Mid­dle Eastern dips, in­clud­ing hum­mus, and is great driz­zled on grilled meats and ve­g­ies. It’s also a good source of cal­cium.
