You can also cook the pump­kin in a bar­be­cue with a hood, us­ing in­di­rect heat. Rub pump­kin all over with tan­doori mix­ture and place in a greased roast­ing pan. Cook, cov­ered, for 40 to 50 min­utes, turn­ing half­way, un­til browned and ten­der.
