All steady for lambs

NUM­BERS were steady at Roberts’ Quoiba sale on Mon­day this week with prices hold­ing or just stronger due to the long week­end.

One pen of heavy new sea­son’s lambs made $200 per head. Most were in the $170 to $190 range and sold from $156.

Old sea­son’s lambs main­tained last week’s stronger quotes and were mak­ing from $120 to $168 per head.

Mut­ton was once again stronger with heavy mak­ing above $100.

Sheep sold from $72 to $132. mut­ton
