THE High­lands Bush­fest at Both­well will again cel­e­brate and show­case the re­gion to­mor­row and on Sun­day.

On both days ac­tion at the Both­well Re­cre­ation Ground starts at 9am.

The fifth High­lands Bush­fest will fea­ture the unique out­door pur­suits of the Cen­tral High­land – fish­ing, hunt­ing, camp­ing and other recre­ational ac­tiv­i­ties.

Lead­ing the ac­tiv­i­ties will be An­drew Hart and Nick Duigan from TV show Hook Line & Sinker. The duo have been the MCs since the in­au­gu­ral event in 2014.

Bush­fest will fea­ture more than 80 sites in­clud­ing car­a­vans, four-wheel-drive ac­ces­sories and equip­ment, ve­hi­cles, boats, fish­ing tackle and equip­ment, ser­vice clubs and or­gan­i­sa­tions such as Sport­ing Shoot­ers As­so­ci­a­tion of Aus­tralia, Aus­tralian Deer As­so­ci­a­tion, An­glers Al­liance of Tas­ma­nia, Field Hunt­ing and Con­ser­va­tion Tas­ma­nia and Lake Ped­der An­glers Club.

There will be a work­ing sheep­dog dis­play, rep­tiles, ferret rac­ing, fly ty­ing and skin­tan­ning demon­stra­tions and a free bat­tle­field by Tas Laser Skir­mish. The Both­well Speed Shear will be held on Sun­day.

There is also mu­sic by Bernie Bruce on Sat­ur­day and Lynda Grey on Sun­day.

The event aims to cater for all the fam­ily. En­try is by gold­coin do­na­tion.
