US shutdown delays report
A KEY crop report from the US won’t be published on time due to the partial US government shutdown.
The US Department of Agriculture has confirmed the monthly World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates report, set to be released on Friday, would be delayed.
While no new date has been set, the USDA said it would be scheduled once government funding was restored.
The USDA said even if the shutdown ended immediately, the agency’s staff wouldn’t have time to release the reports as scheduled.
