There’s good news for egg-lovers following recent research by Peking University in Beijing. Results from a study involving more than 400,000 adults showed that those who ate an egg a day had a significantly lower risk of cardiovascular disease. According to Eggs Australia, Aussies eat a whopping 15 million eggs every day. Men are the biggest eggheads, chowing down on 5.5 eggs per week, while women average 3.8 eggs over the same period. And if you’re camp scramble, you’ll be happy to hear this is the number one way we eat them. If poaching is more your style, try our naughty and nice versions of Eggs Benedict, starting on page 84.
