Ninja Jamm

A COMPELLING MUSIC-MAKING TOOL FROM A PRESTIGIOUS DANCE LABEL.

Why listen to other people’s music when you can make your own? No one’s ever asked that question, but Ninja Jamm has answered it anyway with a pretty fun and exible tool for making your own dance music – though it’s more of a toy than an app. Prestigious dance label Ninja Tune provides samples, e ects and more, allowing you to do with them what you wish across four tracks. e app comes with a range of free sample and loop packs from the likes of Coldcut and Roots Manuva, but there’s plenty to buy as well (ranging from $1.20 through to the $4 mark), and all are marked with their associated genres for those who know the di erence between trap and IDM. Don’t expect to be the next EDM superstar, but if you dig the music in Ninja Tune’s impressive catalogue and like mucking around in Garageband, this is a nifty little, um, game? It’s kinda like a game, really, but it’s a surprisingly powerful one.
