Zagg Speaker Case for iPhone 6

- STEPHEN LAMBRECHTS

A SMARTPHONE CASE THAT HELPS YOU ANNOY PEOPLE ON THE TRAIN.

EVER BEEN OUT in public and wished you had a compact way of amplifying the music on your phone? Really? You’re one of those people? Well, it looks like you’re in luck, because Zagg’s Speaker Case lets you do just that. e speaker inside connects to your phone via Bluetooth to provide a tinny-sounding volume boost. Conveniently, the case comes in two parts, allowing you to drop its chunky backing and use it as a bumper to protect your iPhone’s edges. An interesting design, Zagg’s case doesn’t actually cover the entire back of your phone, sloping down in the top le corner to leave your camera unobstructed — it’s a nice gesture, but it does make your phone look and feel weird. When fully charged, the case provides 8-hours of playback, and buttons on the back let you play, pause and mute the mic at your convenience. If it were much, much cheaper, we could probably recommend the Zagg Speaker Case, but at $180, we reckon you’re better o spending your money on a Bluetooth speaker that delivers more bass.
