Panasonic RP-HF500M
BARGAIN HEADPHONES FOR THE UNDEMANDING COMMUTER.
AT THE RELATIVELY cheap price of $90, these Panasonic on-ear headphones are a bit of steal. They’re far from premium and don’t over-reach their price point, but compared to other similarly priced models by Sony and Sennheiser, these are less bulky without sacrificing a good mid-range sound. The retractable and foldable ear cups are designed for on-the-go usage, and compared to other on-ear headphones, these feel very light and slim — almost too light, as they feel like they’d break with too much pressure. Since you’re paying less than $100, there isn’t anything in the way of wireless or Bluetooth capability, but for those who want decent sounding music on public transport, or just a set of headphones to use at home or at work, you’ll probably be surprised by how good these actually sound.
