You once needed a lightbox and sketching paper to be able to trace an image easily, but thanks to a clever AR smartphone app, all you need is your phone and a bit of paper to bring traces to life. The SketchAR app allows you to convert a photo from your smartphone library to an outline or sketch impression and then overlay it onto a piece of paper using the smartphone camera and screen. From here, the idea is that you trace the lines onto the paper while holding the smartphone in place.
