Jabra Elite Sport

GET MORE OUT OF YOUR HEADPHONES THAN SIMPLY MUSIC.

A FANTASTIC FITNESS-MINDED alternative to Apple’s AirPods, Jabra’s Elite Sport wireless headphones not only offer terrific sound quality, but they can even act as a personal trainer for a truly compelling workout experience.

When used alongside the Jabra Sport Life smartphone app, you can set yourself workout goals and get real-time rep information, heart rate monitoring and even personalised coaching delivered directly to your ear. The app will also keep track of your progress and recommend ways to raise your fitness level.

You don’t have to worry about sweat damage, either — an IP67 rating means the Jabra Elite Sports are effectively waterproof up to a depth of 1m for 30 minutes. Packaged with a number of different-sized silicone tips, Jabra has ensured the buds will fit into practically any shape of ear too. Small wings, also in various sizes, make it near impossible for the ’phones to shake free from your earholes either.

Integrated buttons on the left earphone give you a little bit of control, letting you raise and lower volume, jump forward in tracks or skip. The power button is found on the right earphone, along with a button that allows you to switch between noise-cancelling and ambient-sound modes with a simple double tap. And while we found pressing and double tapping on these initially caused some discomfort, this did ease over time.

When combined with the included charging case, the Elite Sport offer around 9 hours of battery life, which can be monitored from the case’s coloured LED lights, as well as from within the Android or iOS app.
